Hands-on Health Careers Campaign

Rhode Island is experiencing a dramatic shift in its demographic landscape, with the population aged 60 and older projected to increase from 23% today to 75% over the next 30 years. This significant growth highlights the urgent need for compassionate, skilled caregivers to meet the rising demand for quality assisted living care.

In response to this pressing issue, the Rhode Island Assisted Living Association’s Senior Living Institute (RIALA Senior Living Institute) is proud to announce the launch of the Hands-on Health Careers Campaign. This statewide digital initiative, developed in partnership with the Governor’s Workforce Board of RI, the RI Department of Health, the RI Health Care Association, RI LeadingAge, CareLink, and Rhode Island’s assisted living communities, aims to connect job seekers with career opportunities in assisted living. The campaign is strategically positioned to create a significant impact through robust collaborations with government agencies, policymakers, assisted living communities, and nonprofits, leveraging a dedicated job board to mobilize Rhode Island’s workforce.
